Good morning,

So I have been an avid traveler for the past…almost five years now and if there is one thing I have noticed, you tend to make friends everywhere you go. Whether you are an extrovert or introvert, ones upon a time you must have lost your way and asked for directions; thereby your ‘new friends’ list is always at a constant state of growth.

I do believe I will not lack a place to stay in a few countries, especially since I recently visited Johannesburg, South Africa and discovered a long lost high school mate residing there and I must say, distance does make the heart grow fonder. It is always a sentimental moment sharing hugs, reminiscing over past mutual experiences and you can imagine our faces haha!

‘Milima haikutani lakini watu hukutana,’ Swahili proverb meaning mountains don’t meet but people always meet. Maybe my life is a television show, each new day full of surprises with a different cast and different location.

Having already left my friend, Elizabeth, and her family, I feel nostalgic. When her daughter asked me about returning it was painful to say I don’t know when I’ll be back. However it makes me realize how I have become more of a global citizen, always on a constant move. The world has become my home. One can never really can tell where they will land next.

Admittedly, it’s still a reassuring philosophy over my lifestyle and those that share this global citizenship that mountains never meet, but human being will meet all the time.

You have not seen gorgeous until you meet Pume
